In Memory of Carmen Dawn Eisan
First Baptist Church Halifax extends sincere sympathy to Alana Foster and family in the loss of her sister, Carmen Eisan, on October 15, 2013.
EISAN, Carmen Dawn – Age 53, of Lower Sackville, passed away October 15, 2013. Carmen was a country girl at heart, with love of the outdoors, camping, canoeing, hiking and hunting. She was a member of East Hants Ground Search and Rescue, a member of Halifax Regional Ground Search and Rescue, a volunteer with the annual Music Nova Scotia Festival, former member of Noel and District Fire Department Ladies Auxilary, former employee of the Town of Bedford and was currently employed with HRM. She is survived by sisters, Alana (Clive) Foster, Pam Eisan; brothers, Floyd Jr. (Kathy), Dana (Averil), Andrew (Julia); father, Floyd Eisan; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by mother, Harriet Louise Eisan; nephew, Dustin John Eisan. There will be no memorial or visitation as per her request. Burial has taken place. Special thanks to her former Town of Bedford Co-workers (they were like family); VON, Bayshore Home Care and Barb Stewart and the Palliative Care Team. No flowers as per family request. Donations may be made to Halifax Regional Ground Search and Rescue. There will be an open house held on Saturday, October 19, from 1-4 p.m. at 4 Laurie Dr., Lower Sackville. Everyone welcome.
