VelmaMumfordMUMFORD (Densmore), Velma Madeline — 86, East Noel, passed away April 11, 2013, with her children by her side in Vimy Court, Bible Hill. Born May 6, 1926, in East Noel, Velma was a daughter of the late Ervin and Viola (Singer) Densmore. She was a member of Noel United Church and the Order of the East­ern Star, Maitland. She is survived by her children, Gar­ry, Lower Sack­ville; Clara Vroegh, East Noel; Myles (Bonny), Minasville; Lind­say (Marleigh), Minasville; Tony (Pa­mela), East Noel; grandchildren, Andrew and Sarah Mumford; Phillip, Krista, Trudy, Scott Vroegh and their father Eef Vroegh; Jeanette Mum­ford, Amy Hunter, Greg Mumford; Jana Miller and Julie Custance; Shay­na, Joshua and Chloe Mumford; 21 great-grandchildren. Velma is also survived by her siblings, Eldridge Densmore (Ruby), Bedford; Becky (Doug) Beattie, Bible Hill; May Shuna­mon, Bedford; Mattie (Eric) Boyd, Bedford. She was predeased by her husband, Ervin Mumford; brothers, Wilmot and Dalton; daughter-in-law, Peggy Mumford; grandson, Curtis Vroegh. Cremation has taken place with visitation 7-9 p.m. Sunday, April 14, in J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Hwy. 354, Kennetcook. A memorial service Monday at 2:30 p.m. April 15, in Noel United Church, Rev Nathalie Buchanan-Rutherford officiating. Pri­vate family burial in Noel Cemetery followed by a reception in the church hall. Family flowers only.
