Paula joined the ministry team as Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Coordinator in July 2022 and now is serving as Community Engagement Lead, assisting the congregation with sharing its story to the larger community and to strengthen our work with newcomers to Halifax and Canada.
Paula holds a Master’s in Science degree and an Executive Certificate in Religious Fundraising. Having emigrated from Brazil in 2019 with her partner, she brings first-hand experience of being a Newcomer to Halifax, and FBCH.
Paula will be on leave from September 2026 through August 2027.
