Beware Of Energy Vampires

Beware Of Energy Vampires

We often think of turning off lights to save energy. But what about those electronic devices? Even when they are “asleep” or not in use, electronic devices draw energy. The average Canadian home leaks about 450 kilowatts per year. This includes computers, printers, digital clocks and cell phone chargers – even when they are not charging. By unplugging these devices when not in use, or when you are away travelling, you can save energy – and money.
