Although the Province of Nova Scotia has lifted restrictions associated with the State of Emergency and Covid-19, we at First Baptist Church Halifax appreciate that not everyone has the same degree of comfort with the lifting of restrictions. We suggest that those attending Church services consider wearing a mask to help ensure a safer environment for fellow congregants, staff and volunteers – and especially for those who are at high risk. Everyone should feel comfortable remaining masked and social distancing if that provides a greater level of comfort while attending Church Services. Please note the back two Church pews will remain with the spacers to allow those who wish to ensure social distancing.
For committee meetings at the Church, participants are asked to consider masking as an added safety measure and to maintain social distancing.
We encourage everyone to respect the personal space of others, continue monitoring for symptoms, to test when appropriate, and to stay at home if you are feeling unwell.
