The Congregation gathered twice before summer to begin conversations about FBCH potentially calling a second clergy person to serve our Congregation. A summary of what members of the Congregation shared at those sessions can be found here:
In June, the Deacons committed to preparing a draft job description and candidate profile to bring to the Congregation this fall and will do so on September 13. Below you will find a link to the draft description. Please take time to review the document prior to the session on September 13. We will gather around tables (in the sanctuary and on Zoom) to receive feedback. The key question: does the job description reflect the input from the Congregation? Please note, this is not a decision-making meeting.
Draft Job Description and Profile
In October (date to be confirmed), the Leadership Team will provide an information session focused on the financial implications of calling a second clergy person.
Following feedback from these sessions, the Deacons and Leadership Team will evaluate whether the Congregation is ready to consider the call of a second clergy person.
