With school out, families could get together with their “bubble” friends, car pool and get to one of the many U-Pick farms around our Province. Fresh fruits, berries and vegetables are all available for the picking at reduced costs and in large quantities. Folks could try their hand at home made pickles, jams and fruit preserves – defense against rising grocery store costs and they make great Christmas gifts. Also save on packaging by recycling containers for picking and preserving. Remember to be safe and wash hands often.
