Christmas Eve at FBCH
From the homes of members of the FBCH community to your home, we gather to celebrate the birth of Christ. After an extended prelude by the Blue Engine String Quartet, we will be led in carol singing and scripture readings by FBCH families, light the Christ candle, and Addison Edwards will read the Christmas story.
The service will stream on Facebook and our Website and be available on YouTube following the stream.
We will re-gather as the night is fully upon us to join with companions around the table of Christ’s love. This will be a brief service of communion (approximately 30 minutes, no sermon). Along with organ music, Amanda Zadeh will lead us into the wonder of the night as she sings O Holy Night.
In addition to the online stream on Facebook and inclusion on our YouTube channel, because of the temporary ease of provincial restrictions for faith communities, we will offer the opportunity to gather in-person for this service. Doors will open beginning at 8:30pm for quiet reflection in the beauty of our Sanctuary adorned with lights for Christmas. Please note, this service is entirely prerecorded, so those who gather in person will worship as they watch the service together on the sanctuary tv and share communion (you are encouraged to bring your own elements, though there will be individually wrapped elements a the door).
If you plan to attend in person, please pre-register by clicking here.
