The Jazz Vespers series begins October 15th and runs to May, on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM. The series’s theme is “Sacred Silence Sacred Sound”. It implies that a deep sense of peace and spiritual presence are found, not in the noise of everyday life, but in the quiet solitude of the mind and of sacred surroundings, that reveal an inner world of vibrations and meaningful experience. It suggests that by quieting external distractions and inner chatter, we can more easily perceive the Divine Whisper and the underlying interconnection of all things.

Here’s what people are saying about Jazz Vespers:
“The Jazz Vespers service provided me with a reflective and pensive moment, finding meaning and purpose in myself, connecting more closely with God and others.” -Dahrl
“In a time of global distress and individual uneasiness, to say nothing of the pressures of “too many things to do and too little time”, the Vespers hour provided a quiet and healing retreat where life was reduced to thoughts of remembrance of the past, reassessment of the present and refreshment for the future.” -Gisela
