Please join us for Jazz Vespers, a contemplative gathering in the sanctuary on Wednesday, December 20th at 7:00 PM. Jazz Vespers is an alternate worship experience that includes quiet, inspirational jazz performances, scripture readings and prayers. Kenjie Omae, an exceptional saxophonist will provide the music for reflection. Refreshments and a social time will follow the service.
Here’s what people are saying about Jazz Vespers:
“The Jazz Vespers service provided me with a reflective and pensive moment, finding meaning and purpose in myself, connecting more closely with God and others.” -Dahrl
“In a time of global distress and individual uneasiness, to say nothing of the pressures of “too many things to do and too little time”, the Vespers hour provided a quiet and healing retreat where life was reduced to thoughts of remembrance of the past, reassessment of the present and refreshment for the future.” -Gisela
Hope you can join us – bring friends and mark your calendars for the rest of the series: Jan 24th, Feb 20th, March 20th, April 17th and May 15th.
