Family Lent at Home
Pick up Your Bags at Church (Available Now)
Many of our families have been missing the Godly Play experience during Covid and some families have been wondering what Godly Play is all about. This year we are excited to offer you the chance to experience Godly Play at home with your own family. Lent at Home bags are available for families with children aged (pre-school to Grade 6). These bags include parent resource sheets with instructions on how to use the materials, creative family projects, ashes for our Ash Wednesday service, and palm branches to colour for our virtual palm procession. The focus of the Godly Play materials centres around the Faces of Easter story. This story will also be explored in Sunday morning worship during Children’s Time. By exploring the story at home and making a connection to Sunday morning worship, our hope is that children will learn more about the life and work of Jesus and begin to ask their own wondering questions. Bags will be available on Sunday mornings (see Rhonda) or you can email Rhonda to arrange a time to pickup your family’s Lent at Home bag.
Youth Lenten Project

The Youth Group (Grades 7-12) will reflect on the life of Jesus as they construct the Faces of Easter stations and put together a resource with reflections and prayers to guide others through the stations. Contact Rhonda Schofield for more information.
