White Gift Sunday

White Gift Sunday

Our traditional White Gift Sunday Service will be held on December 15, 2019. This service helps us focus on the importance of sharing our gifts with others so they might have a brighter Christmas. During Advent we are reminded of the families and children in our community who go without the many things that we take for granted.

With kind donations for the FBC community, we will be working with Ward 5 to provide gifts for 60 – 70 people ($75 per) and Christmas dinners for Ward 5 and Parker Street. Gifts for our refugee families will also be purchased.

Last year we were able to provide 72 people with warm clothing, household items, and toys. We were also able to contribute to Ward 5 and the Parker Street Christmas Dinner Programs. We also provided funds for The Angel Tree Gift Program supported by the Prison Fellowship of Canada and the Bread of Life Ministries as well as gift cards for the Brunswick Street Mission Breakfast Program.

During the service on December 15th we will dedicate the gifts that will be sent out.

If you would like more information about the white gift program, to volunteer your time or make a donation contact the office at office@fbchalifax.ca.
