Lynn was born in Barrie, Ontario in 1955 and moved to Halifax in 1960.
She was educated at Halifax Ladies College followed by Q.E.H. Lynn graduated from Dalhousie with a bachelors degree in history. During her time living in St. John’s, Nl. she worked for Revenue Canada. Upon her return to Halifax in 1986 she worked for D&D. She subsequently trained and worked as a home care worker until her retirement in 2016. She also hosted ESL students during their time in Canada.
Lynn suffered a stroke in 2021 and spent the last two years in a nursing home. She was predeceased by her father Ken. She is survived by her mother Audrey, sister Leslie, nephew Nick, niece Kathleen, as well as the Tupper, Lantz, Lohnes, Slaunwhite, Langille and Fram cousins.
Many thanks to the doctors and staff at the Hants Community Hospital in Windsor for their care in her final days. Also, special thanks to cousin Bruce Lohnes. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
