Rhonda began serving as Interim Minister of Faith Development in April 2020. She originally hails from Nova Scotia’s Annapolis Valley but has deep roots in Prince Edward Island where she lived for 16 years. Rhonda is a candidate for ordained ministry in the United Church of Canada and is currently working towards a Master of Divinity from The Atlantic School of Theology.

Rhonda has a diploma in office administration from a community college in Charlottetown and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Prince Edward Island in Religious Studies and English. Rhonda has also completed several masterclass credits at UPEI in Creative Writing. Much of Rhonda’s ministry experience involves children, youth and young adults. Because of her learnings from people of varying ages, she has come to deeply value creative expressions of faith.

When not in a textbook, Rhonda’s nose can most likely be found in a piece of Canadian Literature. Rhonda enjoys writing, reading, knitting, crafting and just about any activity outside (unless it’s snowing).

Rhonda lives in Dartmouth with her cat Susan and enjoys being an aunt to her cherished niece and nephew.
